Transformational wellbeing & mental health support through the power of horses
In a quiet valley among the seven hills of Sheffield, our equine centre offers a safe space to slow down and reconnect. Through calm, meaningful connection with horses, we support gentle healing, reflection, and lasting change — guided by the horses natural wisdom, sensitivity, and strength.

Rooted in care for our community, we are committed to offering therapeutic experiences for adults and children, that are accessible, inclusive, and meaningful.

Who is Equine Facilitated Learning for?
We offer equine facilitated learning for adults, children aged 7+, young people, and families. Our sessions support emotional regulation, resilience, and wellbeing through calm, guided connection with horses.

Our Equine-Facilitated Learning Sessions
Sessions are tailored to the individual — whether adult, child, or family — and unfold at a gentle, respectful pace. Working alongside horses offers a grounding, non-judgemental space where regulation, insight, and change can emerge naturally.
For children, the horses often become a bridge — supporting emotional expression, safety, and confidence without pressure or expectation.
For adults, sessions offer space to slow down, reconnect with the body and nervous system, and explore what’s beneath the surface in a way that feels contained and supported.

Equine-assisted therapy is suitable for:
-
Adults seeking calm, clarity, and reconnection
-
Children aged 7+ and young people

Our Approach
We combine equine-assisted growth and learning with therapeutic guidance tailored to each individual.
Our work is:
-
Trauma-informed: We recognise survival responses and meet them with compassion.
-
Strengths-based: We build on each person’s innate resilience and potential.
-
Relational: We prioritise safety, consistency, and trust in every interaction.
-
Interactive: We move and engage the body whilst interacting with nature and the world around us.
